Project's Internal Links Force Landing Spot in Alt Views - Bug

There's simply no way to get a View to land at the Top of the Next View once an Internal Link has been activated. Last Activated Internal Link persists, no matter what.
Workaround: Created "Back to Top" Block Heading at the bottom of the Project and Linked it to the very 1st Block's Heading so able to ensure Alt Views land at the Top of the Project's Page.
For example:
- In List View, Create Link for Block 2 Heading and add it to a Task in Block 1.
- Click on the Link to Block 2 Heading (moving you to Block 2)
- Deactivate the now Highlighted Block 2 Heading that was activated by the Link.
- Change View to "Board" and the View falls on the still Highlighted Block 2 Heading, even though it was deactivated.
- Deactivate the Block 2 Heading AGAIN, then go back to List View.
- List View RETURNS to the STILL Highlighted Block 2 Heading.
- No way to get out of this Block 2 Heading Loop. Even if Unclick the Highlighted Link and type somewhere else, you will be forced to return to that Link if switch to another view.

Hi there, if i'm understanding correctly, activated/deactivated refers to the task being highlighted. Changing the view will cause the highlight to reappear because the link used doesn't change. It will act like the page has just been refreshed.

ryantaskade: Yes. Activated refers to the task that's become highlighted from linking to it. De-Activated refers to having clicked on the Task that's become highlighted from linking to it in order to to turn off the Highlight. Turning off the Highlight should turn off Taskade's effort to land there again, unless selected again. Unfortunately, you can't turn it off, so the last link you pick becomes the "Center" Column in Board view, and the still Selected Block in List View, even if you "De-Activate" the Highlight and work on another block before changing views again.
You're stuck with Landing on that previously Linked to Block until you choose another Link, which you are then stuck on. The only way to reorient to the Top of the Project is to @mention it, which is a weird reference within the same document. So I use my workaround, which is to create a link with the words, "Back to Top" that Links to the Project's First Block Heading, so I can reset each view to the Start of the Project.
