Search Feature not keeping focus on found items

Copy of a feature request - as it makes more sense as a bug report.
When utilizing the search feature within Taskade, the platform should maintain the focus on the selected task, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow for the user. Currently, this is not the case, as the focus is lost upon clearing the search input—this is especially problematic on mobile applications. For instance, when a user searches for "Task 1" and selects it, the search input is automatically cleared, causing the view to jump to the top of the list. Although the task remains active and editable, it is no longer visible on the screen. This can lead to unintended modifications, such as appending "aaa" to "Task 1" without visual confirmation (New taks would then be called "Task 1aaa", because the task is out of view.
- Once a search result is selected, Taskade should maintain focus on the task, even if the search term is removed. This ensures that the user can see and interact with the task without it disappearing from view, this should also apply during editing
This will allow users to see their changes in real-time, preventing errors and confusion.
- On both desktop and mobile versions, Taskade should prevent automatic scrolling when a task is selected from search results. Instead, the task should remain in the current view unless the user manually navigates away.

Hello there,
To clarify, Taskade doesn't automatically scroll on the desktop or mobile version. Since searching acts as a type of "filter," the results will appear at the top of the project.
On mobile, selecting a search result will close the search, and the view remains at the top of the project. This behavior doesn't seem to be an issue for the desktop app. Focusing on the search result will not close the search bar and still allows the text to be edited.
Therefore for the mobile app, similar to your suggestion, once a search result is selected, Taskade should automatically move the view to maintain focus on the task.
I've raised this to the mobile team to investigate further.
If you have any more details to share or if there's anything else you'd like assistance with, feel free to let me know.

ryantaskade Dear Ryan, yes thank you! You're correct the filter works on desktop and web. Interestingly enough though there is one shortcoming : When one filter for a task one can edit it. But creating then within the filtered view a subtask (Enter - Tab) does not work. Only enter works and then this "new" task cannot be seen . Adding notes with shift enter thoug works in filtered view.

merso: Hi Merso, yes you are correct and we aware that creating tasks while in that filtered view does have issues, we will look into it when improving our search feature.
Thank you for the additional details!

Hope this gets some attention at some point. At this point search (and partly the whole app) on mobile quite unusable.
