It would be good if you could back up your entire database and export it as a file.

Yes. Agree. Always nice to have and maybe even a "backup and restore projects" off-platform

Ability to Download a "Backup" of Everything!

This is very important in order to keep our data safe. An option to download a backup of all the data and tasks, etc., in the folder structure will be great. By this, we can keep backing up the data from time to time and store it locally in our systems.

What about a zip that contains folder and markdown file ? We can already import a project in markdown, why not all in one click ?
Narek Zograbian
ghald: Markdown does have different styles across different programs. We support most of Markdown, but not all.

Excel & CSV !

jack-s: This will have to come after we release and improve Custom Fields.

Import/Export Data via csv or other format 👍
Narek Zograbian
jack-s: We have import via CSV. Once we release Custom Fields, we'll probably improve this feature to allow compatibility with other program data structures (Notion Tables, Google Sheets, Airtable, Asana, etc.)

I would love to be able to export all projects in a folder and have them appear as "chapters" in a pdf.
Narek Zograbian
Dara Farrell: If we implemented this feature, I assume it would be something like a Google Drive export—zip file with workspaces as folders containing your folders and projects

I seriously need this feature. The more I create the least peace of mind I have not having anything backed up.

Harmony: 100% TRUE!!
Narek Zograbian
Harmony: We're not against this feature—however, we're mainly focused on Gantt View and Custom Fields right now.
If this was implemented, I'm assuming you'd want something like a Zip Export with each workspace being its own folder?
peterkarlen
Narek Zograbian A zip would be fine if there is a way to restore it or merge it completely.
Narek Zograbian
peterkarlen Another user was suggesting something like an Offline Access like Google Drive. Would that work out too?
peterkarlen
Narek Zograbian Yes, syncing to a local folder would be nice :)
Narek Zograbian
peterkarlen Would you want both options or would the local folder option work?
