John at Taskade Can I embed also Craft link documents as well?
Narek Zograbian
albertkinng: Haven't tried it. I'm assuming it should work though (theoretically).

I would also add to be able to use Google Docs as a dynamic knowledge source for Agents
Narek Zograbian
piotreks: We have more granular control over our projects than Google docs. Is there functionality that you prefer in Google Docs that is missing from Taskade's projects?
piotreks
Narek Zograbian the point is to have the AI agents knowledge and projects automatically updated in case the Google Drive file is updated
Narek Zograbian
piotreks Understood! Thank you for clarifying.

Thanks for the suggestion! This is technically possible already—simply use the /embed command to embed any URLs or links to your page, including public Google Sheets, Docs, and social media posts.

We can definitely look into extending the default options to make it more user-friendly. Additionally, you can embed Taskade anywhere else by sharing a project, AI agent, etc., for seamless collaboration!

Integrate Google Drive within Taskade.

Other apps like LiftOS allow you to do this. And I think it's amazing.
Narek Zograbian
Hey there! Are you saying you'd like to interact with a Google Doc or Google Sheet from within Taskade?
yourspanishguide
Narek Zograbian Yes, or if not that, improving the way text looks, make a function so it works like a Google Doc. In case you have to write a script or something like that...
Andrew Pitchford
Yes, with a connection to a Google Drive, it would be better to be able to select any Google Doc (document, spreadsheet, slides) and edit in Taskade or as a first step at least link out to it rather than a download upload of a file which loses the dynamic connection.
Wanting to setup a content management workflow in Taskade connected to our works Google Docs drive for content writing and needing this as I can't see the functionality at the moment.

Upbase has done it well
You can embed:
Google Spreadsheet, Docs, Slides, Drive
.
And all this happens without leaving the program or opening a new window.
Google Spreadsheet, Docs, Slides, Drive is kind of part of the solution, not an external application.

jack-s: Yes, this is exactly what I would like - the ability to see the actual Googe sheet/excel so that we can display charts and graphs etc.
John at Taskade
jack-s: Thanks for the suggestion, this might be doable for us to simply parse sheets and docs.google.com links so they become embedded in Taskade as an IFRAME when you embed the link, instead of opening a new window on-click.
Is that what you are looking for?

Is that what you are looking for? Might be simple as we just need to whitelist these domains and load them as iframe.

Thank you, we will look into this in the near future. Note you can 'Upload' files from Google Drive at the moment and attach them into tasks, comments, chats.

John at Taskade: Hi John, please implement this - I mentioned this on my review. A feature that enables us to link to a google sheet/excel via onedrive, or similar so that we can share graphs and data tables would be just amazing. Please add this! As Jack pointed out Upbase has a similar feature
John at Taskade
Joe Ng: Thanks and noted, we will investigate this in the future. If there are any workarounds currently using existing integrations, do try as well.
