AI Agents hasn't short memory feature when chatting with via external tools(ex. Slack)

I don't think the AI Agents has short memory feature during a conversation via Slack or any external tool. Maybe I'm missing something here!
Any idea guys?

Great question — you're not missing anything. Right now, AI Agents communicating via external integrations like Slack don't retain short-term (within-conversation) memory the same way the native Taskade chat does. Each Slack message can be treated as a relatively stateless exchange, which is a real limitation for back-and-forth workflows.
This is something the team is actively working on. We've been expanding agent conversation persistence (v6.92.0 brought automatic saving and persistence of agent conversations in native chat), and bringing that same continuity to external channels like Slack is a logical next step.
In the meantime, one workaround is to add context directly to your agent's Knowledge Base or system prompt — so the agent has persistent background information even if it doesn't remember the prior Slack exchange.
