We propose the implementation of a drag-and-drop feature that allows users to reorder AI agents in the agents tab of Taskade through a specific button for this function.
Functionality:
User Interface:
Each agent in the agents tab will have a distinct "drag" button, possibly represented by a "three horizontal lines" icon or similar, located at the left or right corner of the agent tab.
Drag Action:
By clicking and holding the "drag" button, the user can move the selected agent up or down.
During the movement, adjacent agents will reposition in real-time to show where the dragged agent will be inserted when the button is released.
Custom Ordering:
This is not an automated "sort" or "classify" function but a manual tool that allows customizing the order of agents according to the user's preference.
The new position of the agent is fixed upon releasing the button, updating the on-screen order instantly.
Visual Feedback:
Provide clear visual feedback during the drag, such as shading or color change, to indicate the agent is in motion.
A line or marker may appear between agents to show the new position the selected agent will occupy.
Usability:
Offer an intuitive and smooth experience, ensuring the drag-and-drop process does not interfere with other functions of the agents tab.
Compatibility with mobile and desktop devices for a consistent experience.
This feature aims to give users greater control and customization over how their AI agents are organized, thereby enhancing efficiency in managing their AI Agents and Teams in Taskade.
