As Mindnode app, it would be nice to have total freedom of movement with our schemes, to be able to embed the images in thumbnails to be able to be visualized in any size, a direct access to a photo is a big mistake forcing me to make a damn extra click for each visualization, this is not practical, not visual, not productive, it's terrible! I can't create arrows to any direction either...

There's a Canva plugin for Obsidian that allows to build really awesome Mind Maps, where you can easily drag the nodes.
Would be great to see a similar functionality. Maybe integration with Canva is a possibility.

pauk Hmm. They're definitely similar and have overlapping requests. My understanding is that this one is trying to modify the current mindmap feature while the whiteboard feature is a standalone option.

Narek Zograbian I see your point - It's uncertain. However, if you were to do a freedom of movement mindmap, you would be able to do so and much more on a whiteboard view with options for task, image, embed dropping, etc. and have an arrow connection tool, or draw connections yourself. Essentially, you would achieve what's sought and not have to develop/change the current locked mind map framework 🙂

Essentially being able to embed multiple projects on a canvas and have added elements on the side with a freeform type of approach?
It also sounds like Apple's Freeform app.

'Mind Map' view...please make this customisable - we need to be able to change the size of each block and organise these in a flexible way. Similar to Miro, they have so many options when it comes to their boards templates
