There is an app for personal planning called Taskito. It's no way near to what Taskade does but the UI is like a timeline of every day, it shows completed and unfinished tasks, it also shows the number of tasks which are Overdue, Due and Upcoming Tasks, it sorts of act as a motivator when you have 20 tasks to be done in a day and at the end of the day when you see 0, it gives a lot of satisfaction. I hope someone from Taskade team check that app and come up with that amazing UI. ryantaskade Narek Zograbian

puneetj: This is possibly a separate request. Could you make it in a separate post?

I also consider it a necessary tool. After all, the general view of the calendar allows you to see tasks from all projects, and if it remains empty after completion, it looks incomprehensible, demotivating, as if nothing had happened

mary.shitya3: Where would you want to toggle this option?

Show completed tasks on calendar

If you search for "calendar" and "complete", you'll see a number of existing requests all for the ability to control how completed tasks appear.
For me, the calendar is not useful for planning. Because if you "complete" a task, it disappears from the calendar, so you have no evidence it existed, and can't show the client, or see what you did. It would be nice to have a view that shows things both completed and not completed. Or an alternate view that shows completed, since currently, completed = deleted as far as the calendar is concerned.
Regarding the Calendar view, At the user's preference, Completed tasks could move to a "Completed" list/status, or an archive, or change color, or show a strikethrough, or become pale.
Other users also have requests for how completed tasks appear in other views, so finding a universal solution across all views would be great.
(see also "calendar" and "color" for related usability requests to color-code within one workspace — another essential planning feature)

Hi there, thank you for the suggestion, I've changed the title of the pos to better reflect the suggestion

It would be useful to have a toggle, which can either add or remove completed tasks from the calender. I need completed tasks to be removed after the the tasks are complete so my team can easily see what is outstanding.
This could link up with being able to select which projects to show on the calender.
The new ability to drag and drop calender entries is good but not enough for me to fully utilise yet.

This would be a really very useful feature. We need it in order to quickly remember what tasks were completed yesterday at the morning planning meeting.

Currently, I need to leave tasks as uncompleted, so that my team can use the calendar as a planning tool.
Yes, we need the option to leave completed items in view in the calendar.
