Search Bar for Moving Projects

When moving a project to a different workspace or folder, it would be really helpful to be able to just search for the workspace instead of scrolling through all of them

+1 the populated list also only shows recent projects for the subspace (folder), which may be based on how I chose to sort that subspace. I would like to be able to have the option to search for projects that aren't in that list, which in my case are projects that aren't recently updated.
For a project that doesn't appear in the list (it's limited to a certain number), I have a workaround.
The workaround is to
first go to the project I need to move it to
(the quick switcher will let me do that pretty fast), and make a superficial edit, usually like: - click title of project ->
- press End key ->
- press enter (make new node at top of project) ->
- press backspace (delete node that was just created)
I'll then:
- go back to the project I was planning on moving things from
- refresh, because of cache it might not see the updated project in the populated list
- select nodes i wanted to move
- move to desired destination project, which will now be at the top of the subspace (folder) of my move to selection choice

yolk: I'm trying to see what would be an easier alternative to this. Maybe having a slash command where it would search a project name too?
It does seem like a tedious workflow for something that's supposed to be quick. Thank you for the feedback and detailed overview of your workflow btw!

Narek Zograbian: A slash command could work for sure like
/move <auto complete project name>
, similar to how @<auto complete project name>
works or how the quick-switcher's auto complete works. I am usually only moving a single node and its children. Another way is I can use the "recent" view (https://www.taskade.com/recent) and use drag and drop to the projects in the sidebar if I access the projects in the right order. I guess in the Recent view, I don't actually need to modify anything where I would have to in the move menu drop down

yolk: I imagine this feature would allow someone to move a node with only their keyboard. So they would do:
- /move
- Prompt would open where they could type the project name
- Use arrow keys to select from a list (Workspace and Folder information should be displayed below the project in the list)
- Pressing Enter would move the task.

Narek Zograbian: I like it!
/move
sounds like it could be a good reserved commandNarek Zograbian
yolk: Thank you for confirming!

Hey Mariam! Where would you see this placement? Would you want it to be in the screenshot provided? Would you want it to be available in that third dropdown right above all the workspaces and folders?
