This is a really fair ask, and we want to be transparent with you about where we are on this.
Taskade Genesis is becoming more central to how Taskade works — it powers the AI agents, app building, and automation layer that underpin a lot of the platform. Because of that deep integration, a simple "disable" toggle isn't straightforward to implement without affecting many other features.
That said, we do want Taskade to feel in your control. A few things that might help right now: you can minimize Genesis-related UI elements, focus on the classic project and workspace views, and use the interface in a way that keeps Genesis in the background unless you invoke it.
We're taking this feedback seriously — if you can tell us more about what specifically feels intrusive or unwanted about Genesis in your workflow, that helps us figure out the right solution. We want it to be a powerful option, not a forced overlay. Check out https://taskade.com/changelog to see how the interface has been evolving.

Projects are not easy accesible with new layout.

Team members and clients are struggling to navigate their projects due to a splash screen that prompts them for a single app, leaving them unsure of the next steps. In their frustration, they begin clicking around aimlessly. As an admin, I truly appreciate Genesis for its ability to help me create apps based on my workflows and projects. However, I also utilize Taskade with clients, allowing them to track their project progress and provide comments and feedback. This setup was straightforward for a mom, but now it's become increasingly manageable, even for some of my teams.
I've had to retrain the team to help them access their projects, which has made me realize how challenging this could be for clients. I suggest implementing a dedicated button for Genesis or a toggle feature for admins to switch certain workflows back to Classic mode, which could benefit those using Taskade for task management—especially for more traditional users. I hope my feedback resonates with your understanding of this issue.

I'm a little bit frustrated, So now there was a redesign, and every time you open a project, it’s not the project that opens, but Takade-KI on the left and Preview on the right? What is that supposed to be? Now I can’t even see my projects in the overview anymore, no – I still have to click away the AI stuff twice.
Seriously. You can do great things with it. But this definitely goes too far in hindering the user from working.

Hi there,
thanks for the feedback and screenshots.
We do have an article explaining the new ui here, so this could be helpful for your team members.
could i know how you are sharing the projects to the clients?
do note that they will still see the workspace home screen, if they are invited to a workspace.
otherwise, if they are only added to the app/folder, the link will redirect them to this page instead, under the "shared" tab, without the genesis splash screen. though of course, if they go back to the taskade homepage, they will see the splash screen regardless of which team they are under etc. so an "admin" feature to remove this will not help
